Eastern Mojave Scenic 2011

Day 4, after lunch

The results from the Eastern Mojave Scenic ride are posted online.  Click here to view the daily results and click here for the overall results.   The weather ended up being quite nice for the majority of the ride.  On the 4th day we had a bit of snow in the first half of the ride.  This is one of the few rides that has long sections of excellent footing

Hoof Photos: Granite Chief+/ – February 2011

These were taken during and after the Eastern Mojave Ride of Chief’s hooves on February 17 and 19, 2011. I rode Chief on days 1 and 3 of the ride plus marked trail with him. I took Bo’s Renegades off for a good portion of day 2 and rode him barefoot where the footing was excellent (which was quite a bit of the

I’m back from Oz!

I had such a great time in Australia! I got to do a lot of fun things before the Functional Hoof Conference started.

This is a photo of all of the speakers and presenters – what an honor to be included in this group.  I had the best time talking about my horses, endurance riding, managing barefoot horses and also was able to get a word or two in about Renegade boots too.

I
